I forgot something...

You said "bots give out the awards". Yes that is true but the VIEWERS vote on the movie! So basically, the newgrounds VIEWERS chose who THEY want to have awards. Didn't you notice an award that says "Weelkly USER's Choice"? That award is given by a bot, but the VIEWERS basically tell the bot who to give the award to by voting on the submission.

And here's another example of how the VOTERS decide who gets the awards...
